Billing questions
How does billing work?
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance in USD through Stripe — monthly or annually. Annual billing costs 10× the monthly price, so you get 2 months free. Your quotas refill at the start of each billing period.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Sign in, open the account menu and choose Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal, then cancel there. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period. You can also email [email protected] from your account email.
What happens if I use up a quota mid-month?
Each plan has monthly pools for text recognitions, document pages, file conversions and AI translations. If one pool runs out, that feature pauses until your next billing period — or you can upgrade to a larger plan from the billing portal.
Do unused quotas roll over?
No. Quotas are monthly pools that reset each billing period. You can burn through an entire pool in one day if a big job calls for it.
Can I get a refund?
Duplicate charges and billing mistakes are always eligible for review, and ordinary cancellations may be prorated to the unused portion of the billing period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Is there really a free tier?
Yes — new accounts get one-time free credits (3 text recognitions, 3 document pages, 3 file conversions) with no credit card required. The browser extension also does unlimited on-device text OCR for free.
